How do acoustics affect my home theatre?
Sound can bounce around a room much like a Ping-Pong ball. When it hits a hard surface (like a wall) it bounces back and when it hits a soft surface (like carpet) it slows down or stops (gets absorbed). Proper acoustic planning regulates the bounces and absorption, thus creating true sound reproduction. Acoustic Smart wants its clients to hear each movie the way the director intended it.

How is the sound environment controlled?
Our custom made products and installation equalize the effects that normal room surfaces have on sound. We manufacture our own acoustic panels and personally align them in your theatre to assure superior sound quality. This is accomplished by combining reflective, diffusive and absorptive surfaces. On staff acoustical consultants assure outstanding results.

How many theatre styles does Acoustic Smart offer?
At present we are offering eight distinct theatre environments. Each style is available in a choice of colors and fabrics. Your color/fabric theme can be carried forward to our custom seating options. Of course, we will be happy to work with your interior designer to create a special theatre environment to suit your individual taste.

Who actually makes all this happen?
Once the room has been prepared by your contractor, and the audio, video, and wiring is in place, our custom installers will create your acoustically balanced environment. First, wall panels will be hung with great care and accuracy and then our custom seating will be placed for perfect comfort and viewing.

What styles and coverings are available?
Each of our exclusive styles is available as chairs, love seats, sofas, curved and straight rows. We offer the finest leather and custom fabric seat coverings.

Leather cinema lounge coverings are carefully selected from the top 10% of the European market and are Aniline Dyed in a wide variety of colors. Our leather is backed with a 5 year limited warranty.

Fabric cinema loungers are also available. Select from our catalog of velvet, ultrasuede, nusuede, and designer fabric. If you prefer, you can supply your own special fabric. All upholstery is done by seasoned craftsmen in our own factory.
